Epic in the most peaceful and earthy way, vintage 1970s Canadian blanket poncho in warm cayenne red/brown nubby weave with short crimped fringe all around the peaked hemline. The hand loomed fabric is amazing enough, but then it comes alive with super thick & fluffy strips of yarn in various funky colors all throughout. Simple drape has a notched neckline with single braided tie. This cape could absolutely do double duty as a blanket :) Label Au Terroír of Madeleine, Québec. Made in Canada, circa 1970s.
